Nature is my Church
By: Me

Surrounded by trees, with thousands of leaves
Through the whispers of the breeze I hear the Angels speak.

My feet pressed into the earth, roots spread beneath the ground,
drawing nutrients up my legs, then my heart and to up to my crown.

Feeding my soul as my body shivers, overwhelmed with giddy and delight
As I climb higher and deeper I am encapsulated in a bright light.

All the worries, fear, doubt  begin to melt away
Only faith, peace and pure love blossoms from within.

Hello my lovelies!

Oh how I missed all of you this Summer…

But I needed to step away to recharge and get back to my roots. The picture above was taken on top of Angel’s Landing in Zion National Park in Utah.  As you can see from reading my poem how deeply connected I am to Mother Earth.  I feel the most alive when I’m out in nature.  My Summer trip to Southern Utah was incredibly grounding, heightened my intuition and fed my soul.  It was a 14 day trip and we visited (in order) Zion NP, Bryce NP, Escalante Grand Staircase, Capitol Reef, Arches NP, Dead Horse SP, Canyonlands NP and we ended our trip in Moab. We hiked our way through some of the most beautiful and breathtaking landscape I’ve ever seen and explored caves and water hiked through The Narrows.  We camped in the deep wilderness in Capitol Reef and stargazed through the night.  I picked my own sage from the most sacred land with a knowing inside that I’ve been there before.  I connected with local Native American tribe leaders and talked for hours about the land and their families from many generations ago. I was able to take home some extraordinary pieces of art, crystals and photos so I can continue to stay connected to this amazing place. Every time we take these trips I am reminded how vast and expansive our land is and I am immensely filled with love and gratitude for our sacred earth.  I come back incredibly open and enlightened.

I want to end with this note, when you are feeling like the stresses of everyday has you zapped, stuck or disconnected - step away and do something to feed your soul.  You would be amazed how a little time connecting with your heart will make big shifts in your life.  And, I am always here for you, help guide you through life, give you the tools and connect you to your heart’s desire.

Much love and light,

Dena
